We are recruiting an experienced and knowledgeable Full Stack Software Developer to complement our existing IT & Systems team in supporting our global business. 

About the role:

Our new Full Stack Software Developer will support, develop and deliver a variety of bespoke in house solutions involving MVC web applications, win forms and web services.

The role will primarily involve working on several production systems namely Spectral OPS and Net OPS which are our primary order processing applications. The post holder takes responsibility for integrating new products into OPS as well as maintaining and developing current products within the OPS applications as the business requires. Supporting existing releases of the applications and troubleshooting issues raised by production in relation to the OPS applications.

Key responsibilities of a Full Stack Developer will include:

Supporting a variety of bespoke C# applications including MVC apps, desktop applications and WCF services as a full stack developer

Developing new and existing applications in response to business needs

Working closely with team members to ensure development is on spec and functional

Providing support for our local and international production environments

Attending stand-ups, sprint planning and code review meetings regularly

Following defined processes and conventions while also looking to continuously improve areas within the development team

Using source control (TFS) to ensure all projects and their code bases are kept up to date and available

Key Challenges for our Full Stack Developer will include:

Working in a fast-paced production first environment

Continuously providing stable and maintainable software solutions within a realistic deadline and framework

Understanding and working within the bounds of existing limitations.

Our ideal Full Stack Developer will embody our values of Innovation, Collaboration, Respect & Drive & will have:

Minimum of 3 years in software development

Knowledge of C#.Net

Experience with MVC web applications

Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Proven experience with software design and OOP

Good attention to detail – including spelling and grammar

Also experience with source control, primarily VSTS (or TFS), ticket/issue management applications (such as Jira), experience creating and managing normalised database (My/MSSQL), continuous integration and deployment.
