Job Title: JavaScript Developer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £50,000

The Role

We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer to join a fast-growing Student Network business based in Manchester. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications for the company's products as well as website and backend services. You will be working collaboratively with the UX/UI Designers, Product Owners, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

* Developing and maintaining web applications

* Developing and optimising front-end code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

* Working with the UX/UI Designers and Product Owners to create highly functional user experiences

* Collaborating with other developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects

* Troubleshooting and debugging web applications

* Ensuring applications are compliant with web standards

* Optimising applications for performance and scalability

Requirements:

* Proven experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

* Experience with frameworks: React, Node, Next

* Understanding of RESTful web services

* Knowledge of Git and version control

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

* Passion for technology and emerging trends

Hybrid Working:

We are offering a hybrid working role that combines both office and remote working. You will be expected to attend the office for team meetings and occasional on-site tasks.
