Responsibilities

Designing, implementing and supporting the configuration of network

Produce, plan and implement design changes to support rollout.

Ensuring plans are delivered to agreed targets, in line with companies methodologies and processes.

Implementation and commissioning of network equipment. Supporting cabinet rollout and architecture deployment

Contributing to and producing reports of network capacity and performance.

Supporting regular day to day operation of the network.

On call support of the live network. Able to independently resolve most configuration issues to restore service.

Identifying and Diagnosing root cause of network issues. Use fault tracking systems to document issues accurately.

Escalation point for Network Ops and Field Engineer teams.​Requirements

​Previous experience working in a Mobile, Broadband or ISP

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.

Strong technical knowledge in optical ethernet, IP transmission and routing

Troubleshooting faults and performance issues in Fibre network FTTH technology and DWDM

Experience in SIP telephony.

Experience in staging and testing of networking equipment

Experience working within Unix or similar environments

Experience implementing and managing automation tools, and DevOps approach to infrastructure orchestration.​

The ideal candidate will have CCNP qualification though not essential
