Role: Lead Developer

Location: Birmingham - One Day a Month / Remote Working

Salary: £60,000 to £75,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for an excellent Lead Developer or thriving, technically competent Senior Developer, to join a leading workforce management solution provider. The successful candidate will use their development experience to competently lead full-stack development teams, communicating with product owners and project managers to ensure developer compliance with coding standards and best practices across each software product.

Angular development will be the main technical element of this role and will be something you'll interact with regularly, therefore experience with Angular is extremely beneficial. However, other JavaScript frameworks with an openness to learn Angular is also welcome. This position will cover full-stack applications, therefore experience with back-end development is also required.

This position comes with a 10-15% bonus on top of a competitive salary, with the business in a period of growth which opens progression pathways later down the line. You will also be mainly remote working, visiting their Birmingham office once a month to meet up with the development team.

The Role

Being mentored by and supporting the Development Manager, you will be overseeing the creation and maintenance of multiple bespoke software development and integration projects. Utilising your experience in Mobile and Web Application Development, you will direct their development teams to ensure code follows coding standards and language/framework best practices, provide mentorship to ensure technical competency to comply with all decisions and processes, and oversee daily stand-ups and architecture meetings to provide your input to technical decisions for a given solution.

Experience:

We are looking for a technically competent Senior Developer or Lead Developer with full-stack experience, Angular experience is extremely beneficial although relevant JavaScript framework experience is welcome. Other key aspects of a successful applicant include:

Experience with Ionic for Mobile Application Development.

REST or SOAP API experience

NGRX or equivalent State Management experience
