Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer who will be predominantly responsible for looking after the on-premise and Cloud infrastructure across the business. We are looking for someone with proven experience of setting up and supporting Cloud infrastructure in Azure.

You will be heavily involved in a core project to pull all of their servers into the cloud (Azure) in addition to managing and maintaining core infrastructure. The role will also involve performing hardware/software installations or upgrades, project planning and delivery as well as dealing with escalated 3rd line issues which can't be resolved by the Support team.

We are looking for strong experience in some of the following:

Experience of Azure fundamentals and concepts - including previous involvement in Azure migration projects.

Demonstrable experience across Microsoft Server technologies.

Active Directory, Group Policy

DNS, DHCP

PowerShell

Networking / switches and VLANs

Datacomms

Initially you will be required to be in the office Monday - Thursday whilst you learn the business and the systems, however after a few months once up to speed, the role will be 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
