Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a software company based near Altrincham that specialises in enterprise web security software.

They are currently looking for multiple Java Developers to join their team, you will be working in a small team working on desktop and enterprise software products. You will be working on one of the world’s most widely used web security software which is used by companies such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft. They have a top-tier software development team who are extremely experienced, and knowledgeable and are at the forefront of their industry.

They are continually growing and follow the Agile methodology strictly and they do this to the best of their ability. They also follow TDD and have frequent project releases. The company has a very fun and relaxed company culture/working environment with flexible working hours, a great office and modern hardware.

Skills required:

- You must have a Ph.D. or First Class Degree

- You will have extensive knowledge of Java

- Strong knowledge of software development practices, patterns, and principles

- Experience with AWS / Kubernetes / Docker

- CI/CD

Beneficial skills:

- Highly beneficial if you have experience with SQL, REST, and JavaScript

- Test-Driven Development

- Pair Programming

- Good working knowledge of testing software Mockito or JUnit

- Git

- Gradle

- TeamCity

The salary is up to £120,000, plus benefits of the role include things such as: Flexitime, 8% Pension, Share options, 25 Days holiday + Bank holidays, Life Assurance, Private medical insurance, Income protection, and many more.

This role will require you in the office 5 days a week.
