My client is a leading Tech Driven eFulifillemt company, and are now in need of a Systems Test Manager to take over the reigns and lead a team of 9 Test Analysts. Based in Northamptonshire / Rugby my client offers Hybris working with 2 days in the Office and 3 WFH. The Test Manager will come from a Software Testing background and ideally experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) although not essential and strong API Testing.
Working as part of the Business Systems Delivery team, this role is responsible for testing changes to business systems including WMS systems and working closely with IT software teams, site operations teams and external Clients. As a test Manager you'll ideally be Agile and ISTQEB qualified with a strong background in Test Team Management. As a Test Manager it would be beneficial if you have experience of implementing an automated Test environments, as my client is looking to implement some form of automation that will be driven by the test manager.
Testing and Line Management
Line Management to 9 Test Analysts (potentially more in the future).
Ensure effective and fit-for-purpose testing strategies and approaches are in place for all systems change including tools, techniques and assurance.
Onboard capabilities for testing new business systems
Introduce automated testing tools to benefit the business and the team.
Provide estimates for changes in terms of testing.
Ensure the team liaises with the relevant stakeholders in raising Change documentation and provide support during Change Board process.
Provide line management to the team including the implementation of personal development plans to ensure suitable capacity and capabilities within the team to deliver effective testing and implementation support.
Recruit and onboard new Test Analysts where relevant and required.
Ensure high quality of testing planning and execution, incl. accurate test plans, relevant test scripting and scenario generation.
Communicate regularly and accurately to all stakeholders on testing progress, where applicable.
Continuous review and improvement of processes and systems/tools utilisation, incl. automation.
Ensure Team cross-training, incl. new capabilities.
Lead, drive and embed continuous process improvement and best practice for the Test Team, as well as peripherals where relevant, e.g., Development Teams.This is a superb opportunity to Join an award winning tech driven organization, that builds a lot of their own systems.
