Title: ERP Applications Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Location: Worksop

OVERVIEW:

Edwards and Pearce are working with a leading manufacturing business based in Worksop to recruit an Enterprise Resource Planning Applications Engineer to their team. The company are a powerhouse in rail technology and have been operating globally for over 120 years. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team.

THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the IT Application Manager, the ERP Application Specialist is responsible for supporting the primary software application (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).

Duties include new user setup, key user training, troubleshooting (root cause analysis and repair), third-party maintenance, end user training as well as continuous improvement including providing technical expertise for BC modifications and version upgrades, process design and testing.

In this role you will perform design, implementation, and upgrades of ERP to meet business and user needs, alongside coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to establish application scope, goals, and requirements.

You will partner with business stakeholders and have key and critical input on key areas for improvement and end user issues. You will lead business process flow discussions to establish best business practices and provide documentation of all processes and training as needed.

THE CANDIDATE:

ERP project management

Proficient in Jira, Teams, Sharepoint, Clicklearn

Experience with BI tools preferably PowerBI, Jet Report is a plus

Dynamics NAV and BC

Excellent communication skills

Manufacturing experience - Essential; Strong understanding of the Manufacturing/Supply chain modules of D365 BC as well as Purchasing, Sales, Finance, Inventory

Significant experience in the following areas: CRM (MS CRM preferred), Master Data Management, ETL, API Management, Datawarehouse and reporting tools.
