This role will play a vital part in ensuring that the data the client relies on via their system is accurate and of high quality. Initially you will be working on a data cleanse project. The role will eventually be part of the wider client onboarding team as the ‘go to’ expert for the firm for all client and contact information.

Key responsibilities:
*
The Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the data held on the Practice Management system is up to date, accurate and trustworthy
*
Monitoring all changes made to client and contact records on the practice management system as part of the new onboarding team.
*
Liaising with those making mistakes and retraining them
*
Escalating ‘serial’ offenders to the relevant people i.e., team leaders, Compliance Manager
*
Creating and developing standard definitions to ensure the consistent use of data.
*
Liaising with external data enrichment companies to ensure data is up to date and complete.
*
Continuous improvement in how we build systems that make sure the information stays accurate and up to date
*
Championing and raising awareness of the importance of quality data
*
Supporting other ongoing projects and initiatives as required i.e. GDPR
*
Work with external partners to finalise and implement plans for the data cleanse project
*
Work with external partners to develop and introduce data cleanse rules to be used by the onboarding team.
*
Adapt and improve the CMI process for ongoing use by the onboarding team.
*
Develop training (along with the IT Trainer) for the new CMI process and contact record
What the employer is looking for:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a data focused role
*
Highly knowledgeable at keeping data, up to date, cleaning and reporting on it
*
Experience of working in professional services
*
Excellent IT skills
*
Team player with the ability to build good relationships with colleagues by building trust and credibility
*
A ‘detail’ person, committed to providing accurate, complete and useful data
*
A self-starter who needs minimal supervision, although support with be available, who can see the ‘big picture’ and are willing to get their hands dirty
*
Sufficient experience/gravitas to be comfortable challenging how the teams are working, explaining how they should be working and ‘retraining’
*
Good communication skills and the confidence to deal with people at all levels of the firm
