This Thame based technology company have an exciting opportunity available working with the IT & Business Systems Manager and Finance Manager
Overall Purpose of the IT Data Support Analyst
Interpret, check, format and analyse data sets from multiple sources
Ensure overall accuracy of data stored within business systems
Manipulate data to provide reports in a variety of formats e.g. SQL, Crystal Reports, Orbis TaskMaster, VBA, Excel, Power BI
Create visual dashboards within ERP, CRM and other business systems
Create backing data which will support the visual dashboards
Create and maintain documentation of data reports and tasks
Liaise with internal teams for reporting requirements and other tasks
Extract key information/insights from the dashboards and/or data sources
Present findings to staff and the management team
Provide ad hoc support to the IT & Business Systems Manager on non-data processing IT support tasks as required by the business
Day to Day Responsibilities of the IT Data Support Analyst
Generate daily/monthly and ad hoc reports from ERP, CRM and other business systems, ensuring optimum data quality and traceability
Support the Finance Manager in developing reliable data sets within the ERP system
Build a robust understanding of data sources and their interconnectedness
Develop an extensive network with the staff using data across the business to ensure data are understood and used appropriately
Support the development of suitable metrics for inclusion in business cases
Work with the IT & Business Systems Manager and Finance Manager to identify areas for improvement
Support all areas of the business by providing Ad Hoc data and reports of service performance
Take ownership of all issues arising with core business systems including ERP and CRM packages and liaise on fault resolutions with the respective vendors
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Strong ability to quickly pick up and navigate existing reports
Experience with ERP systems (ideally Access Dimensions)
Experience with CRM systems (ideally SuperOffice CRM)
Ability to dive deep in data in accordance with the business needs
Attention to details and comfortable using Microsoft office applications
Experience using SQL, data queries and SSRS
Strong report writing and presentation skills
Teamwork
Able to work with multiple data sets
Keen eye for detail
Nice to Have skills and qualifications
Experience using Crystal Reports, Orbis TaskMaster or other reporting solution
IT troubleshooting skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Office 365, office networking and Microsoft server 2012
