Summary:

We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, rapidly growing and multi-faceted group of companies who are a market leader within the Logistics and Supply Chain sectors.

As the group continues to grow and develop there is now a need to recruit an IT Support Engineer to work within the IT team at Group level. As the IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for 2nd Line support for users across the group and will report into the Head of IT.

Key Responsibilities:

As the 2nd line escalation point, you will work closely with an MSP to maintain and monitor all IT systems on a day to day basis.

Work with the Head of IT and the wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are captured and implemented.

Input on and ensure that processes and procedures are followed and on an ongoing basis enhanced.

Overseeing the patching of systems and steps needed to reduce the attack surface.

Help to design, implement and monitor policies to improve end user experience and enhancing the security of devices.

Work within the parameters of ISO 27001 policies and procedures.

Assist with updates, changes and new installations of IT software and hardware.

Key Skills/Experience:

Possess a minimum of 3 years experience in an IT support focused role and have ambitions to further progress your career upwards in IT Support and Service Delivery.

Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure Ecosystem including AAD, Endpoint, Exchange, Sharepoint, TEAMS and Windows 10 & 11.

Have a detailed knowledge of Infosec principles including vulnerability patching, compliance policies and DNS filtering.

Possess strong network troubleshooting capabilities.

Knowledge in some or all of Azure Virtual Desktops, Azure SQL Server, Azure Storage, Dynamics CRM, ISO 27001 and Firewalls, Switches and VPNs would be desirable.

Good knowledge of a broad range of hardware including pc's, printers, switches, AV and networking.
