Due to expansion over recent years, a well-established and growing company are looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team based in Runcorn.
The successful applicant will be responsible to provide support and resolution to IT issues and requests at the desk side, via phone, via email, or via other support technologies provided for that purpose. Working in a team of 3 and reporting to the Head of IT, the successful applicant will provide 1st and 2nd line support to end-users to ensure technical efficiency throughout the business.
Experience in a 1st/2nd Line Support role is essential, as well as exposure within a customer-facing role and the ability to work within a team. The role is an on-site position in Runcorn so applicants should be within a commutable distance of Runcorn.
Required Skills:
In depth knowledge of Windows Servers 2008 onwards and Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
Understanding and configuration of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP
Office 365 administration / configuration including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams & SharePoint.
Network administration experience - LAN/WAN, WiFi etc.
Strong customer-facing skills and communication skills.
