Due to expansion across the business and an increase in the functionality of our client and internal facing applications, we are seeking an experienced UI Developer to build a new range of interfaces to meet and deliver these requirements. You will be responsible for building a functional, convenient, and visually appealing interface across various A&O IT Group platforms supporting the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

* Build applications & UI/UX according to specifications and designs

* Write code using core engineering principles & industry best practices to ensure quality, usability and performance

* Define and build test suites, perform analysis to identify opportunities for improvement & automation and build them

* Closely collaborate with our team of developers and Product manager to build the best product possible

* Participate in our agile development process, including sprint planning workshops, code reviews and quality assurance activities

* Help ensure product & client projects success by participating in workshops and discussions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

* Strong UX/UI design and development skills using Javascript, HTML, CSS, MySql, Perl, Python, .Net, Java, SQL.

* Proficiency in front-end Web Development across desktop and mobile devices

* Proficiency in application development languages

* Experience conducting usability testing

* Experience of responsive design for multiple devices

* Strong communication and collaborative abilities

* Ability to create wireframes and flowcharts

* Knowledge of content management systems

* Pragmatic problem solver

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and business level

* Exceptional organisational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail

* Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
