Are you a Junior Firmware Engineer or Graduate, with experience writing embedded C code on microcontrollers, who is looking for a new and exciting role where you can become an expert in the design and development of tools that assist mining, all whilst gaining on-the-job, and external training, with a clear path to progression?

Software plays a major role in controlling the machinery, R+D, and alerting operators to potentially life-threatening dangers, so with continued expansion, they have the need for a Firmware Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

In this role you will work as part of an R&D firmware team and will be responsible for designing, developing and testing firmware for downhole and surface tools. Which in turn will lead to the full firmware development life-cycle.

The ideal candidate will hold a strong embedded background, with experience in writing embedded C code on microcontrollers, whether this be through University projects or Commercial Experience

The Role:

Design, develop and test firmware downhole solutions

Take responsibility for the entire firmware development life-cycle

Help direct the business to translate commercial needs

The Person:

Experience with embedded C

Proven track record of successful implementation of design and testing

Degree educated or relevant commercial experience

Commutable distance to Aberdeen.
