Head of Data & BI

Reperio are working exclusively with one of Ireland's leading insurance companies as they plan to expand their Data & Analytics function. My client has invested significantly in building state of the art systems which are used to support their market leading customer service and sales teams. They are now keen to add to their leadership team and bring a talented Head of Data & BI onboard

Reporting to the CIO, this hire will be responsible for managing and continually developing a multi-disciplined team of data analysts, developers and report builders. You would be responsible for the Data Framework and delivery of BI reporting, analysis and insights. You would also be responsible for supporting and informing the decision making process of stakeholders such as Heads of Departments, Board of Directors, Operations Managers and Senior Management

My client is based in Dublin but they are very flexible on remote working for candidates based in Ireland

What you need:

6+ years experience working in a data warehousing and BI reporting environment

At least 3 years experience leading teams

A background in SQL Server, ETL Development, Data Integration and Data Mining

An understanding of the IT systems development life cycle

Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI

Proven understanding of Data Governance

Insurance or Finance experience preferred but not essentialThis role offers an attractive base salary alongside excellent benefits to include a 20% Bonus, Pension and family health insurance.
