Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Support Officer to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26-30k per annum.

As a Systems Support Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role to provide effective and efficient Systems and Technical Support for UK, France, Spain, Ireland and other HA offices ensuring that they are prioritised, resolved according to the SLA and escalated as required. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Systems Support Officer:
- Sucesfully resolve systems support requests from all HA departments and HA offices according to the SLA and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
- Efficiently monitor and keep the Systems Support Helpdesk up to date to ensure all assigned tasks are attended to.
- Successfully fix bugs and develop systems components to address systems issues raised via the support cases.
- Successfully build reports and dashboards requested via the Systems Support Helpdesk.
- Successfully perform systems testing including user acceptance testing within the timeline specified by the Project Manager
- Successfully deliver training and systems demonstration to the satisfaction of users and stakeholders.
What we’re looking for in our Systems Support Officer:
- Computer Science graduate or equivalent OR Boot camp graduate OR self-taught programmer with relevant experience and proven track record
- Programming skills
- MS Office suite
Desirable:
- Experience with Salesfrce configuration and development
- Knwledge of Git or TeamCity
- Understanding f REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience with internatinal / multilingual sites
Essential:
- God set of full stack skills including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (e.g. jQuery, Angular, React, Vue
- A keen eye fr detail on the front end and code quality on the back end
- A prven track record of delivering to a high standard
- Awareness f SEO and security best practices
- Experience in agile prject methodologies
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu or an East Asian language, are desirable
