J2EE Developer (Contract)**

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Day Rate: £450 - £500 (Dependent on experience)

Location: Dublin/Hybrid

Role Description

We are seeking highly motivated, proactive individuals capable of operating independently and providing leadership in a fast paced, delivery-focused environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a global lean-agile organisation delivering high profile initiatives across the flagship Cash Pro Treasury platform leveraging API, Mobile and Web Technologies. They will participate in all stages of the project life-cycle, from application design, development through delivery, particularly during the execution phase. They will work closely with Product Managers, developers and quality analysts throughout the project life-cycle. They will actively participate in all Agile practices. They will be responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. They will ensure that software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements and deliver quality code, unit tests with robust and well-tested application solutions.

CashPro Payments sits within the Global Markets and Banking organisation and Global Transaction Services which provide liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to small businesses, middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world. The global team sitting at multiple locations worldwide is responsible for delivering high profile global Payments solutions via various channels such as Online, API, Files and Mobile to our clients.

Core Skills

Required:

* Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related Engineering Field

* Extensive experience in Java programming including transaction management, web services, Rest APIs, XMLs, Junit, etc.

* Good knowledge of databases, PL/SQL

* Good analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies

* Experience working with Build tools (Maven, Bit Bucket, Jenkins)

* Good ability of gathering and understanding the requirements

* Previous experience of working in Agile

* Excellent organisation and communication skills
