Information Security Assurance Manchester– Remote Working

On behalf of our industry-leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for a talented Information Security Assurance Manager. As an Information Security Assurance Manager, you will be playing a key part in the delivery of activities against the Information Security defence plan, reporting on findings, and the effective management of corrective actions in collaboration with the rest of the business.

The Information Security Assurance Manager will be responsible for:

Undertake Information Security assurance & assessment reviews and audits of controls, processes, and procedures across group companies, in line with our standards, control frameworks, and best practice.

Undertake regular spot checks to ensure compliance with Group policies & standards.

Assist with the Annual Technical Testing regime, and ad-hoc testing when required. Liaising with 3rd parties.

Developing suitable frameworks and governance processes to keep the company aligned with best practices, including PCI-DSS, ISO27001 and CIS. 

Undertake other testing activities, for instance, Phishing Testing.

Produce accurate and good quality reporting on assurance reviews, KPIs, and other testing.

Monitor and report on remediation actions relating to Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, and other corrective actions across the business.

The Information Security Assurance Manager will have the following:

Control assessment and auditing experience are a must.

Information and Cyber Security frameworks and compliance experience.

Experience in undertaking methodical tasks and documenting outcomes in a concise manner.

Experience in writing and maintaining documentation.

Ability to plan, perform, document, and report on reviews.

Knowledge of Information Security frameworks and standards desirable, ISO27001.
