An experienced Network and Telecoms Officer is needed to join our team at Central Bedfordshire Council based in Shefford.
This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home and any CBC offices, including Priory House, Shefford. You will be expected to attend a CBC office location on a monthly basis and as needed to carry out your role.
You will administer our current converged telephony system and provide support for our network services. As this is a six month contract, you will need to deliver from day one.

About the Role
Through the continued growth in Central Bedfordshire’s digital footprint, we have a great opportunity for an experienced network and telecoms officer within the Council’s IT team.
You will have current experience working in a high-pressure IT department in a network / Telecoms role, demonstrating experience administering telephony solutions and network project support. A confident and clear communicator, you are keen to work with stakeholders across the council.
