Expanding and leading Fintech client in Peterborough are looking for a Junior-Mid level QA/Tester to join their team, working closely with the development function.

We are looking for a Junior-Mid level Tester who is keen to learn and gain personal development, to gain progression within their role and the team.

Happy to consider Junior or mid level living locally to the Peterborough office to work Hybrid (3 days in office)

Your role will involve:

Finding defects through testing, reporting and resolving.

Creating new test scripts to validate new functionality being added to the platforms

Maintaining and updating existing test scripts as and when necessary

Running the test scripts, recording evidence, documenting and reporting any issues found

Providing estimates on the testing activities needed and timeframes

Working with the Developers to help them recreate the issues and act as a point of contact

Working with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements and support them where necessary

Working with the end Business Users to understand how they use the platform and help troubleshoot Production issues

Maintaining a strong relationship with Subject Matter Experts

Attending Sprint planning and regular stand-ups during the sprint to participate in the planning process and update on work done and work left to do in the sprint

We need you to have:

A good foundation level of Testing either commercially or academically

Attention to detail in documenting and communicating

Excellent communication and relationship skills

Excellent planning and organising skills

Ability to interpret and analyse information

Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
