What you'll do
This is a remotely based role.
When it comes to IT, Toolstation is unique. All software that runs the company is developed and maintained in-house. Using open-source technologies, everything from our consumer website, our shop tills, to our warehouse stock control has been created from the ground up. You'll be focusing on our frontend capability, utilising Vue & Nuxt!
Developing. A huge part of this role will be focused on the development of our website and customer facing applications to ensure that we are working efficiently. You’ll be building some pages/websites from the ground up that serve customers needs and will be carrying out regular testing of any products to ensure strong functionality and optimisation.
Scoping. You’ll need to be solution oriented in this role! As you’ll be responsible for investigating the best results for the business system in line with business requirements.
Communicating & collaborating. You’ll be working closely with the rest of the team to communicate and feedback progress to project management and other stakeholders as well as working as a group to share knowledge and reviews of software.
