Assistant Management Accountant

Due to significant growth, a multi-award-winning technology company are seeking an accounts professional to join their Finance and Administration team.

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of accounting transactions, ensuring the books/records of the company are accurate and complete. You’ll put your organisational and planning skills into practice, assisting others as necessary to achieve team objectives and liaise with others, both within the company and externally (customers, suppliers, and banks).

We are seeking a numerate and IT literate individual who can work under pressure with a calm temperament and with integrity. Training will be given on the role, and tasks will include ensuring all invoices are raised and accurately transferred, providing monthly analysis of credit notes, and monthly reports of project/revenue backlog… Further responsibilities include cash management, ensuring payments are made on timely basis and VAT is correctly coded and accounted for.

Experience required:

ACCA/CIMA training/qualified preferred, or qualified by experience, with 1 or more years of experience in a similar environment

Knowledge of SAGE 200 and Autotask would be particularly useful but not essential as training can be given

Advanced Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, would be an advantage
