Brio Digital has partnered with a leading tech product firm based in Leeds. 

Due to growth, they're looking to hire a Software Engineering Manager to help grow the engineering capabilities in-house. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget. 

This is a fast-paced environment with a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers working too fast-release cycles and ina fun and effective way. 

Software Engineering Manager key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of software engineers and developers

Develop and implement software development best practices and processes (Agile)

Manage project timelines and deliverables

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Ensure high-quality software products are delivered on time and within budget

Recruit, mentor, and develop team members

Key Skills:

Proven experience in managing a team of Software Engineers within a product-based environment. 

Excellent technical skills (not hands on anymore) i,deally with JS, Java and AWS background. 

Strong leadership and management skills

Strong technical skills and experience with software development best practices and processes

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

The role is based in Leeds (LS1) onsite for 2-3 days per week
