Description:C++ based UI Application developmentJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The incumbent will be responsible for
- Design and develop C++ application development on Linux platform for a series of Oscilloscopes.
- Embedded Linux user space application development and sustenance
- QT and QML based UI application development and sustenance
- Develop an understanding of customer workflow and integrate that understanding in all aspects of design and development of solutions
- Work in a variety of multitasking styles, including multithreading and multi process applications.
- Provide timely technical risk assessments, schedule estimates, and status reports.
- Own and manage complex tasks across competing projects and schedules.
- Work in a team environment
- Define, plan and implement general approaches and specific solutions in the areas of software testing and software process improvement.
Qualifications:Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or bachelor's degree with a specialization in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in C++ application development in embedded space.
- Strong knowledge on C++ and object-oriented concepts
- Good knowledge on QT/QML or any other UI software.
- Good hands-on experience on user space application development on Embedded Linux
- Understanding of multithreading, memory management, debugging using GDB.
- Ability to design hardware and software interfaces
- Aptitude and ability to learn new area and contribute independently
- Knowledge on Agile/Scrum based product development
Desired: - Knowledge of open-source software development tools including JIRA, Git, Stash, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of precision electronics instruments, especially oscilloscopes.
- Test and measurement domain knowledge
- Knowledge of systems programming and software architecture.
