Mechanical Designer

I have a great opportunity to join my market leading client and their team, as a mechanical engineer/

Responsibilities:

Creative and Innovation of design using PTC Creo 3D CAD tool

Leasing with other Fields and working in project teams

Create drawing and BoMs as well as offering input into manufacturing data packs. Engineer drawings to BS8888.

Tolerance analysis and Geometric tolerance

providing input into project plans, concepts, and design schemes

Hands on development such as prototypes and pre - Certification testing

Technical reports and presentations

Take leads technically on reviewing designs and provide technical support in meeting with clients

Overseeing a project from concept through to manufacture handoverSkills:

3D CAD Packages (ideally Creo)

Understanding of EMC protection and rf Isolation

Knowledge of thermal control (passive and Active)

Corrosion prevention/ Protection

Use of sealing techniques

Materials selection, manufacturing and finishing processes

Knowledge of mechanical strength, stress and Stain

Knowledge of a wide range of manufacturing process

Able to obtain SC ClearanceBenefits:
