Senior User Researcher, 6 months, Edinburgh, Outside IR35, £400p/d

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit a Senior User Researcher on a 6 month contract basis.

You will receive a competitive daily rate of £400 and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.

The client is looking for an experienced User Researcher to plan and lead user research activities in larger teams and on complex services, thinking about everything involved in fulfilling the customer needs in a service.

Outcomes/Objectives:

Comfortable working with users, business leads, product owner, business analyst and development team to help define and deliver an experience that meets user needs in line with industry best practice and organisational digital standards.

Can plan, design and carry out research activities with service users that help teams get a deep understanding of their needs. This research informs policy, proposition, service, content and interaction design

Moderating in-person user testing, observation and feedback sessions across the product development cycle to capture unbiased feedback, refine user needs, iterate and enhance the product.

Experience iterating or prototyping user journeys in conjunction with design systems (desirably GDS)

Support the UX community and coach or pair with other members of the team * Build relationships and working effectively with internal staff and external parties, for example legal firms, lenders, citizens

Experience off user research and analysis, utilising both quantitative and qualitative data
