Thales are looking for a Storage/infrastructure Engineer interested in becoming a NetApp Specialist to join their Agile infrastructure tribe in Crawley/Doncaster/Cheadle. As the newest member of the infrastructure team, you are responsible for. This role is a hybrid position allowing the successful candidate to work both remotely and on site when required.

What you will be doing:

Working within the Cloud Squad to manage NetApp products within the Infrastructure service, including lifecycle management activities such as upgrade, right-sizing & decommission

Supporting the Cloud and Business Application Squads with storage demands

Provide continuous and ongoing technical support on a variety of IT managed services specialising on storage

Providing full life cycle support for all IT systems including a mix of Technologies

If you have experience in the following:

Technical skills

NetApp cDot Administration with core protocols (e.g. NFS CIFS)

Troubleshooting incident resolution and complex problem solving

Experience of Data Protection (SnapMirror/SnapVault, SnapCentre & SnapManager)

NetApp NCDA is highly desirable

FlexPod (NetApp, Cisco UCS & VMWare SDDC) is beneficial

Performance tuning and performance troubleshooting

Experience of using Automation toolsets with NetApp

Experience of Windows and/or Linux OS
