Test Automation Engineer Java Cucumber Contract Dublin. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join them on a contract basis for 12 months.

As part of an Agile team, you will work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to deliver high quality, performant software solutions. You will actively contribute to the assessment, selection and adoption of key tools and frameworks to drive automation at all test levels and support a continuous delivery pipeline. You will mentor the development team and quality engineers on automation best practices, tooling, clean code and test by example, building first class automation solutions and frameworks to validate all test types early in the delivery lifecycle.

Successful candidates will have Tech-savvy and passionate about automation and software quality. You will have Experience with BDD or TDD. You will have experience in implementing new test tools and frameworks across agile teams that support a continuous delivery pipeline. You will have experience with Java 8 and above, including Spring with Java for API automation. You will have automated testing of REST/micro-services, e.g. Rest Assured.

You will have experience in working on developing automation tools or frameworks Cypress, Cucumber with JS, or Selenium Webdriver. You will have experience with Jenkins, Maven or Gradle. If this role sounds of interest drop me a CV so that we can speak in more detail
