We are pleased to be partnering with an excellent client of ours, based on the outskirts of Ipswich, once more to assist in the acquisition of an IT Support Engineer. Working within an experienced team you will be providing support for 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT enquiries both remotely and in person.

What is the job?

Being a reference point for all IT related queries from internal users, ensuring all information is captured into a defined task, together with desired outcomes.

Perform break/fix IT issues with support from the IT Team Leader or external IT provider

Supporting other IT Team members resolving issues remotely or onsite.

Provide onsite and remote IT Support to end users across all businesses, enabled by a ticketing system, within set SLA times and business priority

Handling of new hardware requests, including ordering, setup and distribution.

Completing assigned project work to a high standard 

What do you need?

Prior experience within a professional IT environment

Excellent communication skills

Experience of using various Microsoft programs
