Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Test specialist on a 6 month contract based in Hertfordshire.

This position falls inside IR35

The purpose of the role is to improve the quality of testing being undertaken related to their specialism, by applying their knowledge of the specialism to the activities performed by the test organisation. Be a subject matter expert in at least one test function, a technical or business domain. Accountable for the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of testing within their business unit with respect to their specialism.

Responsibilities of the Test specialist:

* Coordinates a diverse team and creates the initial test schedule to deliver all aspects of testing to time, budget and quality targets,

* holding accountability for producing outlines of solutions and defining depth of testing required. Plans and oversees full lifecycle integration testing to support complex projects.

* Monitors day to day activities to ensure all objectives are achieved, reviewing reports and statistics to unblock any issues.

* Provides technical expertise within their area and shares knowledge with team to scope and deliver testing requirements.

* Interacts with customers and senior internal stakeholders including project and programme managers to gather insight and feedback to inform testing requirements and approach.
