Infrastructure Engineer - Leeds /Hybrid - £32,000 -40,000

Key responsibilities:

Management of Virtualised Server infrastructure

2nd line support for the company's own core infrastructure, including Hyper-V, MS-Stack, Cisco networking and communication systems

Documentation and basic project management duties

Staged management of server updates and security changes

Development and testing of automated business solutions

Line management of Junior Technician.

Skills required for the Infrastructure Engineer are:

Experience managing and troubleshooting a variety of platforms (Windows Desktop Server to current versions, SQL, SharePoint, and IIS)

A good working knowledge of Virtualisation, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Veeam

Experience of working with Cloud technologies, Azure, Amazon, 0365

A good working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper Networking, Firewalls, VPN

Experience of development and testing

Proven success working under pressure

Some coding knowledge PowerShell, C#, would be highly beneficial

Good documentation and working practices

Some exposure to Linux would be advantageous.

Can do attitude.

Experience & Knowledge:

Microsoft Server 2012 to 2019

Microsoft SQL 2012 >

Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, Office 365

Virtual Servers VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V

Cisco Switching, Firewall and Cisco VOIP / CUCM.
