Job description
A Senior Business Analyst will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, leading on the feature definition and management of a product or products, and supporting a Lead Business Analyst on more complex deliveries and services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to mentor and be a role model to other less experienced colleagues in the community. You'll also be an active participant in the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) Business Analyst community, as well as working with communities across Government.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying of best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring, and evaluating outcomes that helps the team to decide the best approach, manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
• Understanding our technical strategy and identifying opportunities and benefits, design and appraisal of solutions and recommendations for continuous improvements.
• Facilitating setting of business priorities for change initiatives of high complexity.
• Leading eliciting of requirements and responsibility for investigation and implementation of changes to programme scope.
Person specification
About You
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
• Previous experience working in business analysis within agile/lean delivery environments.
• BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or willingness to work towards this if successful.
• Proven experience of building great stakeholder relationships, leading and managing investigation into business and technical processes, functions, information flows and data structures, selecting the most appropriate methods and approaches.
• A history of supporting and facilitating the development and continuous improvement of products and services across a range of complex and challenging digital, data and technology teams.
• Delivering high quality services, products and/or software at pace
• Accomplished written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to a range of audiences.
• Designing and communicating appropriate business analysis strategies and approaches that achieve the best business outcomes.
