SQL Server DBA- SQL Server, Performance tuning, Query tuning, MSSQL, Database administration - Manchester (outside)

My client is looking for a SQL Server DBA for a 6 month period (with a possibility of extension), You will need to be an expert on all things SQL Server.

Relevant experience of Database Administration for MSSQL Server versions (Apply online only) is necessary.

Relevant skills required include:

Performance Tuning

High availability

Clustering

Replication

Indexes and Index management

Query tuning

Knowledge and experience with execution plans

Logshipping

SSRSThis role will be on a hybrid basis with 2 days on site being a requirement (MANCHESTER)

My client is looking for someone with a passion for SQL Server, preferably someone who doesn't just see it as a job but also a hobby. For example, someone who follows the likes of Brent Ozar and Ola Hallengren or other SQL Server Blogs.
