Junior Developer Apprentice
Full Time - Hybrid (split between office and working from home) 0-12 months £15,000 pa 12-24 months £19,000 pa (national living wage) Plus maximum £300 per month contribution towards travel expenses

A leading agency providing technical architecture and design, software development and QA resource and services. They specialise in Drupal, JavaScript (React & Node.js) as well as numerous AWS services.
They are excited to announce they’re looking for a Junior Developer Apprentice to assist the development team with all aspects of software design and coding. Your primary role is to learn the codebase, attend design meetings, write basic code, fix bugs, and assist the Development Manager in all design-related tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
Assisting the development team in developing software for key projects for the business (this could involve building web applications, mobile applications, system to system interfaces etc.)
Understanding requirements from client/specifications
Structured Testing of systems and performing Application Support functions
Identify the cause of bugs and implement bug fixes as well as developing new features
Minimum Required Experience (including personal qualities)
Self-motivated
Attention to detail
Experience in the following technologies preferable (PHP, javascript, git, html/css)
Ability to learn and adapt very quickly
Basic knowledge on coding
Genuine interest in development and a passion for a career in software
Must Haves
Qualifications to include either 5 GCSEs (grades A-C or equivalent including Maths and English)
