We have a position for an Infrastructure Engineer to join , our fast-growing telecommunications and digital transformation organisation. Acquired by the group in 2021, the company is going from strength to strength and is looking to expand their footprint further.

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and improving the core services that underpin our voice solutions. Your position will be crucial in ensuring availability, capacity, and latency so that the supporting infrastructure adequately supports the service we offer.

You can expect to be involved in a range of activities, including:

Securing configuration and management of infrastructure solutions and platforms

Providing infrastructure support to internal teams

Monitoring and reacting to key infrastructure alarms and metrics

Identifying risks in infrastructure and applications, and ensuring these are mitigated Requirements

The successful candidate for this role will have:

Experience of working within infrastructure

Experience of working within ITIL frameworks

Experience of VMWare and other Hypervisors

Exposure to global datacentre management The following is desired, but is not essential to apply:

Networking skills in LAN and WAN.

Knowledge of VoIP

Service Provider experienceBenefits

Base salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
