Senior Systems Support Engineer. My client is urgently looking for 2 2nd and 3rd line Engineers to start asap.

This is a Home based role.

The Senior Systems Engineers are responsible for onboarding and supporting small and medium scale enterprise business networks, both remotely, and on-site.

The Senior Systems Engineer will also work cross functionally with other Bluegrass support teams to deliver comprehensive IT solutions.

This position requires excellent communication and strong technical skills.

To provide advice, when required, to the Service Desk and deal with escalated incidents.

Skills:

Qualifications

Education to degree level (computing or IT qualification)

You will be at the level of Microsoft Certified Associate or Microsoft Certified Expert.

Experience

In addition to the Windows operating systems above we are looking for you to have experience in Networks (including routers, firewalls and switches), TCP/IP, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Virtualisation (VMWare & Hyper-V) Backup solutions and Antivirus software.

Experience of working on a variety of implementation projects

Experience of working with external software and hardware suppliers

Experience using network troubleshooting tools

Knowledge

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products

Thorough knowledge of client/server technology Knowledge of virtualisation platforms in particular Hyper-V or VMWARE
