Position: Junior Functional Support Consultant
Salary: up to £25,000 DOE
Location: Tamworth

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Junior Functional Support Consultant to join a leading organisation in Tamworth.
The successful Junior Functional Support Consultant will have a passion for delivering service excellence, the right attitude and experience, alongside a flexible and focused proactive mindset.
Junior Functional Support Consultant – Responsibilities:
Responding to customer queries via email, phone, and conferencing solutions such as Teams and WebEx
Accurately logging service desk tickets; validating all information received and challenging where necessary
Provide 1st line support, ensuring issues are dealt with in line with SLAs and according to their priority; effectively communicate status updates.
Identify, replicate, and troubleshoot problems; escalating where necessary and gathering information to facilitate efficient resolution
Work collaboratively; build and maintain healthy and professional working relationships with customers & colleagues.
Adhere to company policies, procedures and technical design standards and guidelines.
Share and escalate recommendations/ideas that may improve services, products, process or working practices.
Undertake other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.
Junior Functional Support Consultant – Skills and Experience:
An understanding of the importance of excellent customer service and a "can do" attitude, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues
The ability to work very well in a team environment
The ability to think logically, strong interpersonal skills, strong prioritisation skills and ability to follow process
Patience and empathy when dealing with customers and colleagues
Effective problem-solving skills based on clear reasoning and sound rationale; tactful, diplomatic and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment
Ability to work pro-actively, under pressure and independently with minimal direction
Experience working with HR and Payroll software is beneficial
A good understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Teams, etc.
