£60k DOE + Bonus

Remote (attendance in the Manchester office required once per week)

We’re looking for Mid-level Android Developers to build greenfield products for a well-known London based business.

You’ll be situated in an award-winning Digital Agency in Altrincham, known for their high quality and reputable work within the industry.

After multiple successful project wins, the business is assembling a Mobile development team as the next phase of their impressive company growth.

An ideal candidate will understand the value of and are a practitioner of TDD/BDD and DevOps, and have demonstrable experience at minimum with Swift and Objective-C.

Responsibilities

Assist with Mobile Development projects, from architecture and security to performance

Craft well written and testable code

Carry out continuous improvement

Be involved with the technical direction as well as day to day coding standards/best practices

Mentor your peers, act as a source of technical expertise

Participate in strategic conversations and present to internal teamsTech

Android design patterns, including Material and MVI

Clean architecture

SOLID design principles

Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito

UI automation testing with Espresso

Reactive programming, with an emphasis on RxJava

Continuous Integration - previous experience with CircleCI would be a bonus

Gradle

Some experience working with React Native would be an advantage
