Contract Technical Project Manager - Fully Remote

Recruiting on behalf of an innovative, market leading Manufacturing Software company and consultancy I urgently require a Technical Project Manager with a background in Manufacturing Technology and Systems Integration.

As Technical Project Manager you will lead and manage the successful delivery of client projects, this is a partially hands-on role and the project activity emphasises business analysis, solution design, data modelling and integration with other systems, so the successful candidate will be able to blend a hands-on technical contribution with strong management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope completion

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document requirements, identify risks, and develop project plans

Participate in business analysis, testing, implementation, and general support activities as required

Monitor and report on project progress, budget, and resource utilisation

Experience

Strong technical background, with experience in business analysis, testing, implementation, and general support

Proven experience as a project manager ideally within modern manufacturing (IIoT, OT, Industry 4.0, MES etc.)

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with project management tools and techniques
