rthirteen are supporting a leading financial services business in their search for an IT Service Desk Manager to join them in Norwich. Your solid management experience and advanced technical skillset will aid you overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service desk team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

They are a well-respected and evolving city centre firm whose business model and strategy are underpinned by the provision of accurate and up to date information alongside strong ethics and a focus on providing a supportive team environment.
The day to day
* Overseeing the daily operations and team management.
* Organising and delegating workloads to meet business needs.
* Collaborating with the IT department and wider business.
* Resolving 1st and 2nd line issues as team capacity dictates.
* Supporting and motivating the team to deliver an excellent IT service.
* Maintaining and supporting all hardware and third-party software in line with agreements.
* Identifying repeat incidents in the helpdesk system and taking remedial action.

You will have/be
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* Excellent communications skills with the ability to manage employee and stakeholder relationships.
* The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Logical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft and Windows.
* Formal certification in IT Support is desired but not essential.
This is a full time, permanent position. The offered salary for this opportunity is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
