Supporting the delivery of market leading data mapping and visualisation tools, including SHAPE (Strategic Health Asset Planning and Evaluation).

To support growing client demands and an expanding product range, We are looking to grow our core team and take the business to the next level.

The Data and Information Analyst will join a small but growing team, to modernise technology platforms to enhance existing products and help take the business forward with new products and service offers.

We are seeking a Data and Information Analyst to support clients with their data challenges.

The data analyst will understand the client context and the data available to provide useful data outputs to support business cases and strategies, typically for service or estates planning.

The Analyst will work with our team of developers to convert these outputs into useful visualisations in the form of maps, charts and graphs.

Key Responsibilities

* Interpretation of customer requirements to design and create technical specifications and data models for the development team

* Data wrangling and efficiently cleansing, structuring and importing data from multiple sources accurately * Writing and running queries in SQL to manipulate and report on data as required

* Creation, management, and normalisation of multiple databases

* Presenting to customers, leading client conversations and delivering training sessions

* Project managing data led projects Requirements Essential

* Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject area and/or significant experience in a similar environment or role

* A passion for interactive maps and data visualisation

* Ability to work across multiple applications and projects, in a fast paced, outputs focused environment

* Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team

* Must have great attention to detail with strong numerate and analytical skills

* Advanced skills in data handling and management using applications such as Microsoft Excel and text editing software

* Experience working with different databases types, using SQL to query data

* Logical thinker with excellent communication skills

* Excellent project management and organisation skills

* A flexible approach to working hours, to meet the needs of the business Desirable

* Experience of working with NHS or other public sector data sets

* Knowledge on Power BI or GIS systems

* Knowledge on ux/ui

* Knowledge of cloud servers, IT Infrastructure and networks All candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their technical ability and there is an expectation for candidates to abide by GDPR regulations and the data Protection Act.

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
