Senior/Lead PHP Developer

€70,000-€80,000 p/a

My client are hiring for a Senior/Lead PHP Developer based in Galway. This role is for a company in the financial services sector and ideally the candidate would have previous experience with mentoring others or team leading.

The Role

Leading and mentoring a small team

Collaborate in both the design and development of products

Identify opportunities for and make changes where necessary

Collaborate with the team of frontend developers to enhance applications

Work closely alongside the CTO and product stakeholders to implement tech and design solutions

Fix bugs and system faults

Write and produce excellent codeThe Requirements

Great problem solving skills

Computer Science degree or equivalent

Extensive experience with PHP

Strong experience with AWS, ECS, RDS

Experience with Laravel

Experience with MySQL and Postgres

Experience with RabbitMQ
