Job Description:A vacancy for an Avionics Engineer - RF Operational Data Engineer has arisen within Airbus
The successful applicant will join Engineering Department.
Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to support the ESAOGEL, the Operational Data Squadron at CLAEX (Logistics Center of Armament and Experimentation of the SAF, Spanish Air Force). This includes the following activities:
- Provide direct contribution, guidance and technical support on every development stage for systems under ESAOGEL responsibility.
- Operational Data definition and evaluation for SAF: SW, rigs and Flight Test.
- Support SAF in international Exercises, ie Red Flag.
Required skills :
Educated to degree level in Engineering (Telecommunication/Aeronautical/Computer Science)
Experience and knowledge in Avionics and/or Electronic Warfare Systems:
- Requirements, Specification, Design, Certification and Qualification on AVS Systems mainly focused on Electronics Warfare.
- knowledge of Operational Data Impact on Avionics Weapon Systems at different levels of integration.
- AVS Rig experience with regards to Operational Data generation and validation: Electronics Warfare, Armament, Sensor Fusion and HMI Data.
Radio frecuency basic knowledge:
- RF signals fundamentals
- RF Laboratory Test Equipments.
- It will be desirable knowledge about Ground based Air Defense Systems with regards to RF signals.
- know-how on Ground and Airborne Radar signal fundamentals.
SW and BBDD development experience will also be valuable.
lT literate (MS Office applications, database tool management is desirable)
Fluent written and spoken English.
Availability to travel.
