The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will work with and collaborate with, a variety of stakeholders to identify, analyses and refine business needs, translating these into requirements.

* Be responsible for helping easyJet implement solutions in a cost-effective way by producing the correct documentation through clear elicitation, aligning to Ops, IT and security strategy, ensuring the highest standards and practices are upheld.

* Work with business and IT stakeholders to define, challenge and document clear requirements using the appropriate techniques.

* Create and manage required documentation, to timescales agreed with the Project and Technology Managers planning, driving the analysis phase of the projects, utilizing the right tools available (Jira, confluence, MS teams).

* Use structured analysis to understand the full impact of proposed business change, including dependent processes and systems, using a range of tools and techniques > Business process modelling, mapping as-is and to-be processes and journeys using appropriate techniques.

* Build strong and trusting relationships with Operations, 3rd party suppliers and internal IT colleagues and stakeholders of all levels.

* Own internal and external stakeholder mapping and analysis.

* Scope definition and maintenance, challenging where appropriate.

* Work with all business areas to help define an appropriate and compliant solution to meet business requirements and scope.

* Release support of new systems, continual delivery and updates/upgrades and new functionality of exiting systems.

* Produce test scripts as required for IAT and UAT and working with relevant departments to ensure correct level of testing is completed.

Your Profile

* Substantial experience in business analysis in Airlines /Airport Business and Technical systems (Mainframe Assembler, TPF, zTPF and TPF-C and Dot Net Web based solutions, Airline Reservation Systems (GDS), Departure Control Systems, Loyalty, Flight Operations).

* Methodical, logical, and flexible in approach and be comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

* Self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

* Experience of full delivery lifecycle as a Business Analyst including business case support, project initiation, requirement capture, scope and change management, development support, UAT, early life support and benefits realisation.

* Effective workshop facilitation.

* Ability to create high quality documentation to agreed timelines.

* Ability to think laterally about the impact of changes and represent these accordingly.

* Ability to build close working relationships across the business and with suppliers.

* Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them in a simple manner.

* Ability to communicate well on both a business and technical level, to all levels of the organisation.

* Experience documenting current and future business processes, data flow diagrams, data models and use cases.

* Ability to manage and undertake user acceptance testing.

* Experience in prototyping solutions using appropriate tools.

* Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time within a business function.

* Consistently exhibit core Business Analysis competencies > Fluent with MS office suite.
