KRG has been engaged by an up and coming business in the Reading area. They are a digital marketing agency that support SME's with website development. The role will be hybrid with 3 days a week working from home and 2 days in the office (Central Reading).

You will be responsible to maintaining and ensuring the backend function is operating to its highest potential with a specific focus on Python, SQL and API Integration

Responsibilities:

Writing clean, scalable & efficient code in Python

Building reusable code libraries for future use

Designing and implementing RESTful APIs

Optimizing the performance of applications for full-scale production deployments

Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents

Participating in code reviews

Troubleshooting and debugging Python Backend DeveloperRequirements:

Extensive Python Experience within a backend specific role - 3-5 years experience

Python: Type hinting, pytest, psycopg2, Pydantic

Practical experience in TDD

PostgreSQL, Big SQL queries

API Integration

Docker

Design Pattern- desirable
