We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager that feels comfortable managing the implementation of various digital transformation projects across different services.

Looking for an individual with strong communication wanting to work for an innovative Higher Education Facility on a Permanent Basic offering Hybrid working, fantastic benefits and paying up to £40,000 per annum!

Responsibilities

·To play a key role in initiating and shaping projects such as corporate, software upgrades, IT refreshes and infrastructure upgrades, engaging at a personal level with key project participants such as senior staff and departmental managers.

·To be responsible for managing projects relating to business change and improvement.

·To create and maintain accurate project plans such as Gantt charts and resource schedules, using a variety of tools.

·To identify the resource requirements (human, physical, financial) required to successfully complete projects, and to manage these resources throughout the project lifecycle, allocating work packages and ensuring successful completion.

·To control, monitor and report on progress to project boards and other groups.

Experience

·Experience of successful delivery of complex projects in large organisations throughout the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure

·Experience of developing project plans, managing and monitoring project risks and resources including budget.

·Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels

· An understanding of complex business processes

·Experience in interpreting requirements and managing complex business change relating to system implementation projects and associated risks.

· Experience of developing business cases, and options appraisals on IT system development and deployment
