We have a fantastic opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer to join an exceptional client of ours based in Liverpool. The company have operated in their sector for over 30 years and pride themselves on delivering excellent service. You will join a busy and dynamic IT Support team and have the opportunity to join an award-winning organisation with fantastic opportunities to progress.
Within this role, you will be the first point of contact for any internal IT issues and requests, aiming for first time resolution, ticket management and meeting agreed KPIs. The company has a huge focus on customer service so you will need to be a strong communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Receive, log and respond to support requests through the Helpdesk system.
Provide technical support to end-users and escalate any issues to senior members of the team if required.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
Monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure that they are working at optimum efficiency.
Software installations and updates.
Complete and update relevant documentation as required.
Skills/Experience required:
At least 1 years' experience in a similar IT Support or Service Desk position.
Experience with Active Directory
Office 365 support/administration
Windows Operating Systems (7, 8, 10)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
An understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
