Our client is a leading manufacturer within interior/exterior design and are looking for a Dynamics 365 Solutions/Technical Architect to join their team on a 6 months term with the view to extend until Q1 2024.

Project itself:

The client is currently halfway through its build phase and requires a solutions architect for the integration phase.

They need high-level documentation (HLD) to account for what will be left after the project is complete ; assumptions, risks and enhancements.

You will need to identify:

Mid-long term strategy

What is currently missing from the solution

What isn't accounted for

You will be working directly with the Head of Systems.IR35 and Location:

This is OUTSIDE IR35 and working on a hybrid basis in Barnsley (ideally twice/week, but for the right person this can be flexible).

Responsibilities:

Participate in client workshops to analyse/design D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&O).

Define/evaluate both functional and non-functional requirements for each business process.

Define the overall solution, including integration design in line with client requirements.

Write functional specifications and collaborate with the technical teams to ensure functional requirements are understood.

Prototype, configure and test the respective business processes with the consultants.

Support key-users in user acceptance testing.

Train key-users/end-users.

You will be using Azure DevOps for progress on delivery and will also be expected to

Provide support, mentoring and training to internal resources, consultants and graduates.

Produce development plans, forecasts and development budgetary estimates, to ensure projects can be planned in a consistent and timely fashion.

Lead/develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and has strong requirements gathering skills with demonstrable experience.Essential:

Extensive experience in D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management

Experienced in platform related tools such as Power Platform, Azure Integration Services and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)

Solutions/Technical Architecture background
