Hybrid- Worcester - £55,000-£65,000/annum - 10% Bonus - Private Health Cover

Exciting technical infrastructure management position

This IT Design and Transition Manager position is an ideal role for those looking for a mainly hands-off position running teams of technical infrastructure leads. My client are a medium-sized leading provider of insurance software products, who are growing steadily and developing their technical estate with modern capabilities such as SaaS, PaaS, IaC, Azure DevOps, and Cloud tech.

This position as an IT Design and Transition Manager will involve:

Oversee deployment and support of advanced, highly available infrastructures to ensure service availability and successful delivery of solutions

Management of a team of Technical Leads (Infrastructure Engineers, Infrastructure Architects, Infrastructure Developers)

Design and delivery of the IT services roadmap, working closely with the CIO and other senior stakeholders

Supporting the introduction of Agile techniques and new, modern technologiesIdeally you will be an IT Design and Transition Manager with experience of the following:

Managing technical infrastructure teams

Infrastructure such as: Linux, MySQL, Clustering, Networks, Visualisation, Storage, Windows Server operating systems

ITIL operating models

The client are open to an Infrastructure Manager, Infrastructure Architect, or Technical Project Manager looking to take a step up into this positionThis IT Design and Transition Manager position offers a range of exciting benefits, including but not limited to:
