Trainee MuleSoft Developer

You will use your newly acquired MuleSoft skills to integrate core applications and services, orchestrate complex transactions between application platforms, perform data transformation with Data Weave, build unit tests with MUnit, and build enterprise application architectures using cutting edge MuleSoft messaging, gateway and security tools.

You may have already started to work with MuleSoft or you may be a Java and Spring Framework Developer who wants to build on their Java and Spring knowledge, and acquire much-in-demand MuleSoft Anypoint skills.
What skills will you need:
Either some commercial experience in MuleSoft or at least two years of software engineering experience in Java
Knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot framework
Knowledge of XML, JSON and web APIs
Use of IDEs such as Eclipse or similar
Experience within a financial services environment is desirable but not essential. Any experience of OpenAPI and Swagger, using REST API clients such as Postman or SoapUI or Linux and Apache Tomcat experience would also be useful as would knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Nexus, Bitbucket, Bamboo and SonarQube.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of £30k-£40k plus bonus and a superb 12% Non-contributory pension. In terms of location, this is a hybrid role where there is lots of flexibility to work from home. You will need to visit the office in either Wiltshire or Hampshire occasionally (1-2 times a month although this is not a strict rule). If you prefer you can choose to be fully office based. On top of this, there is also flexibility on working hours so you can manage your work around any family/personal commitments that you have.
